The Chapter of Ioannina of the Scientific Society of Hellenic Medical Students (S.S.H.M.S.) is one of the most active chapters of the Society, with a consistent and meaningful contribution to its panhellenic activities.

Driven by a renewed organizational structure and the strong motivation of its student members, our chapter has, in recent years, implemented a wide range of scientific and social events. Notable examples include informative scientific seminars open to the general public, as well as actions and campaigns that aim to raise awareness of critical medical and social issues (e.g., Will You Marrow Me?).

Furthermore, the Chapter of Ioannina actively contributes to the training of medical students by organizing seminars such as: Basic Life Support (BLS & BIC), Wound Suturing, Medical History Taking & Communication Skills, Emergency Case Management. To carry out these activities, the chapter maintains steady collaborations with various institutions and organizations that support its mission.
