30th Olympiad

The 30th Anniversary Olympiad of Medical Knowledge is here!

The Olympiad of Medical Knowledge is a competition of knowledge and critical thinking that spans the entire spectrum of medical science.
Students from Medical Schools across Greece and abroad compete by answering questions of varying difficulty, aiming to highlight and reward the team with the best overall performance.

The year 2026 marks 30 years of the Olympiad of Medical Knowledge, and this anniversary event will undoubtedly live up to the legacy and prestige of the institution!

Participants will be asked to answer questions selected by the Scientific Committee of the Olympiad of Medical Knowledge, composed of faculty members from the School of Medicine of the University of Ioannina, as well as specialized and trainee physicians from university hospitals.
The questions will assess both foundational knowledge and the contestants’ critical thinking skills.
