Dear colleagues,

It is with unparalleled joy and enthusiasm that we welcome you to the Workshops of the 32nd S.C.H.M.S. and the 20th Forum of Medical Students and Junior Doctors with International Participation!

For yet another year, one of the most dynamic and impactful sectors of the Congress returns, renewed and strengthened. With more than 100 Workshops, we aspire to offer a comprehensive and high-level educational experience that meets the contemporary demands of medical education.

Participants will have the opportunity to work with modern simulators, practice on realistic models, and interact with renowned professionals and experts from the field of Health Science and related fields.

At the same time, particular emphasis was placed on developing a workshop program which ensures a balanced representation of all medical specialties. Our aim was to provide a great variety of creative and meaningful workshops, to accommodate the interests of our diverse scientific community.

Important Information:

  • All workshops will take place at the University of Ioannina and the University General Hospital of Ioannina. Continuous free transportation between the University Campus and Hospital and the Hotel Du Lac Congress & Spa Conference Center will be made available.
  • A member of the Organizing Committee will be waiting at the bus stop in order to direct you to the workshop venue.
  • Please make sure you arrive at the workshop venue at least half an hour before its start.



Workshop Registration Guide:

 

  • Registration for the Workshops’ of the 20th Forum will open on Saturday, March 7, and remain open until Thursday, March 12. 
  • As you are invited to choose from a wide range of options, we recommend that you carefully study the Detailed Guide before registering, where you will find comprehensive information regarding the content, instructors, year restrictions, the exact date and time of each workshop, and the identification code of each workshop.
  • It is important to know the identification code of the workshops you are interested in attending in advance, in order to enter them on the form. You will be given 15 options in order of preference.
  • In the form, you are asked to fill in your full name, year of studies and your Congress Registration ID. 
  • Please ensure that the time of the workshops you register for does not conflict with your other obligations at the Congress.
  • Once you have received an email confirming your acceptance to a workshop, you are requested to confirm your participation within 72 hours, otherwise your place will be given to the next candidate on the waiting list.
  • The selection criteria are as follows:
  1. Chronological order of priority 
  2. Indicated order of workshop preference
  3. Priority based on submission time

If your registration is modified, the submission timestamp will be updated to reflect the time of the revised submission.

*In the Forum Workshops, priority will be given to delegates coming from countries outside Greece.
