International Round Tables
Building on last year’s successful initiative, the 20th Forum will once again host International Round Tables (IRTs), offering medical students from universities abroad a unique opportunity to actively engage in high-level scientific discussion and academic exchange.
This year, the Forum will host 4 International Round Tables, each focusing on a contemporary medical field. Each Round Table will consist of 4–5 selected students, who will explore specific subtopics related to the session’s central theme under the mentorship of distinguished international and academic experts, appointed by the Organizing Committee. Through interactive discussion, critical thinking, and direct collaboration with leading clinicians and researchers, participants will gain valuable insight into current challenges and innovations in modern medicine.
The total duration of each Round Table is 1 hour and 15 minutes. This time corresponds to 13 minutes for each presentation and 2 minutes of discussion with the audience. Strict adherence to the schedule is essential to ensure the smooth flow of both the session and the overall conference.

Inter-Chapter Round Tables
These are round table sessions composed of four (4) medical students, members of SSHMS, each studying at a different medical school in Greece.
This different form of Round-Tables aims to promote a spirit of collaboration among students from different branches and to present various aspects of a medical topic in an interactive way.
Each round table has a total duration of one (1) hour and fifteen (15) minutes, of which nineteen (19) minutes are allocated to each participant for their presentation and interaction with the audience.
The content of the presentations will be developed based on questions submitted by the SSHMS audience through social media, after the topic of the round table has been decided in collaboration with the scientific supervisor.
